A practical guide for reading inventory, locations, and breeding routes.
The Inventory page shows known Pals for the selected player.
Pals currently in the normal Palbox.
Pals currently in the player's active party.
Pals assigned to a base. The UI may show the base and slot where available.
Known Pals currently stored in Dimensional Storage. These remain usable by the breeding planner because the app already knows what Pal they are from previous observations.
A previously known Pal that is no longer present in normal storage or the current dimensional locker data.
Some Dimensional Storage entries only expose an internal identity and do not contain enough information to determine species, passives, IVs, or owner.
The app shows these separately as Unknown Dimensional. They are identity-only entries, are not assigned to a player, and are not used as breeding candidates. This is intentional rather than an error.
Use the inventory controls to narrow the list by species or name, location, state, passive, and minimum IV. Table headings with sort buttons can sort useful IV and location columns.
Choose the target species. A starting parent is optional. Catch fallback can allow routes requiring species not currently owned, and Maximum catches limits how many missing species a route may require.
Select Generate Plan to find routes. Routes are shown as Parent + Parent → Child. Each numbered row is one breeding generation. Follow the steps from top to bottom.
OWNED — the required species is already present in known inventory.
BRED — this Pal is produced by an earlier breeding step in the route.
TARGET — the final Pal requested.
NEED TO CATCH — the required species is not currently known as owned and must be obtained before following that route.
When wanted passives are selected, the route shows how to carry those passives through the breeding lineage. For example, a route for Idiosyncratic may show:
For multiple passives, the route carries or combines the selected wanted passives through the lineage. Inheritance is not guaranteed on a single egg.
Breeding routes are primarily species-level, but the app also recommends a specific owned copy where possible. Route cards may show the recommended copy's location, IVs, and passives.
The recommended copy is the default suggestion. The exact Pal picker is collapsed by default; expand it only to choose a different owned copy. IVs are shown as HP / ATK / DEF. Changing the exact copy does not change the species route unless the required passive cannot be supplied.
Compact locations tell you where to find the recommended Pal:
With catch fallback disabled, the planner prefers routes through currently available inventory as allowed by the planner rules. With catch fallback enabled, a route may include missing species that need to be caught.
Maximum catches limits how many catch-required species are allowed. Route labels such as 0 catches or 1 catch show how many species you must obtain before following that route.

Breed Step 1 first. If a wanted passive is shown, keep the child that inherited it. Use that resulting child in Step 2 and continue until the route reaches TARGET.
The app cannot invent information unavailable from the save data. Identity-only Unknown Dimensional entries have unknown species/details. A Missing Pal's reason for disappearance may be unknown. Breeding inheritance is probabilistic, so Must inherit means keep breeding until the required trait appears.
Rescan Pals fetches the latest save data through the same read-only scan used by the app. Only one scan can run at a time.
After a successful scan, the app updates the current inventory and starts a shared 60-second cooldown across users and browser tabs.
PLANNING WORKSPACE
Select a player to plan from their inventory.
Route flow: each numbered row is one breeding generation: Parent + Parent → Child. With wanted passives, each child must inherit the shown passive before the next row.
Statuses: OWNED is already in inventory, BRED is made by an earlier step, TARGET is the final Pal, and NEED TO CATCH must be caught first.
Passive text: Carries supplies a wanted passive; Must inherit means keep breeding until the child gets it; Carrier means use that passive-carrying child in the next step.
Recommended Pal: routes are species-level. For owned parents, the app recommends a specific owned Pal by default. Expand the exact Pal picker only to choose a different copy.
Location and IVs: location shows where the recommended Pal currently is. IVs are HP / ATK / DEF and do not change the species route.
Unknown Dimensional: identity-only Unknown Dimensional entries cannot be used for breeding because their species/details are unknown.
Uses resolved passive raw IDs from the current inventory to filter local breeding-graph routes. Route discovery never calls PalCalc.
Plans always breed another copy. Starting parent is optional and species-level: leave blank or choose one owned species. Exact copy selection happens only after a route is expanded.
Use existing catch-assisted planning when no owned-only route is better. Zero-catch routes rank first.
Wanted passive propagation uses the local breeding graph plus inventory-carrier annotations. Exact Pal selection stays manual after a species route is found.
